Events are usually cancelled or postponed where the minimum number of 15 girls & 15 guys is not reached. A full refund is offered to those who have paid by Paypal or credit card.

Venue: The Hub, Anglesea Street, Cork.
The HUB isnot a public house.
It's a private bar.
This is our 2nd year at the Hub and we are really looking forward to the challenge of a new year helping you to find each other. We have exclusive use of the Hub for our upcoming singles events. The Hub (formerly the Motor Arms) has been totally refurbished and just the right size for a good singles night.
Due to public demand we have decided to stick with our usual traditional speeddating.
All events held here so far have been a great success.

Our speeddating events at the Hub are increasing in popularity probably because of the exclusivity but also because the Hub/pub experience is less formal than our usual hotel scene.
More relaxing, certainly not serious and more enjoyable.
Whatever the reason, something seems to be working! |
Please Note:
Exclusive use means what it says. The premises is not available to the general public and is only used for private functions etc. This makes the venue even more suitable than hotels etc where the chance of bumping into someone you know and having to explain yourself is virtually impossible, unless of course they are also attending the speeddating event.
So grab a friend and come along.
(or even come alone)

- 8.30 approx. 15 minute Interval
- 9.45 Approx. End of speeddating
- 9.45 to closing. Marking cards & socialising

Located at the corner of Anglesea Street and Copley Street and right next to the Market Tavern.Within short walking distance of the city centre and other popular night spots along the quays.
Directions:From West Cork. Approach the city on the South Link Road. Turn left at the Elysian Tower and proceed to next traffic lights. The Market Tavern & The Hub are directly facing you across the street.
From City Centre drive up the South Mall, turn right over the bridge. Stay in the right hand lane.Pass the City Hall & the Fire Station on your left.The Hub and Market Tavern are situated at the next junction on the right.
From Waterford/East Cork. Drive up Glanmire Road and onto the quays, turn left over 1st bridge, onto Albert St & over 2nd bridge, take middle lane and drive around the Elysian Tower. At the traffic lights by the Elysian Tower drive straight through onto the Old Station Road with the Garda Barracks on your right. At the next set of traffic lights the Market Tavern and the Hub can be seen directly across the street.
